Glasgow's Hex has been busy over the past month, dropping 2 majorly pounding guest mixes, a remix on Detached Audio's 5 year VA and his latest 2 track single on Nurtured Beatz Delirium/Phosphorus.
This release highlights his darker tastes in DNB and is an excellent showcase of his penchant for writing quality riffs coupled with expertly controlled bass design, throwing a knowing head nod to original foundation producers like Dillinja, BCUK et al.
Delirium is a bass stepper with a double nasty halftime second drop hiding a secret reese hook. Phosphorus is a glorious slab of dirty, almost dub-esque halftime with a break-laden second drop to reinvigorate the energy. This will destroy clubs when we get back into those hallowed spaces together. Trust.
